Field Req Description Why?
Title Yes The Podcast Title. This is the main title of the series. Episodic and season-based titles can be added in their dedicated metadata fields.
Subtitle No If you have an alternative title or secondary title for your podcast.  
Explicit No Note if the podcast contains explicit language. An important note to listeners.
Website Yes The website URL for the podcast.  
RSS Yes The RSS feed URL for the podcast. This URL can help auto-populate podcast metadata into the AMP tool. See Documentation for instructions.
Primary Language Yes The primary language spoken in the podcast.  
Description Yes The description (also called a summary) is a brief text that describes your podcast. The description details the general content prior to listening. This may simply be a single tagline.
Copyright Yes Include any copyright details for podcast here. See suggested text.  
License No Include any license details for the podcast here. For example, if the series has a Creative Commons license.
Publisher No The name of the podcast publisher, if applicable. Example: university press, yourself, a production company. Podcasts may be self-published, published with a network or production company, a university press or other organzation.
Contributors No Hosts, producers, or other contributors to the podcast as applicable. Episode-specific contributors such as guests should be input in the episode metadata. Contributor names and roles give recognition to individuals involved in the podcast.
Apple Podcast Categories Yes Include the categories of the podcast included in the RSS feed for podcatchers. Examples: Society & Culture, News, Religion.
Keywords No Keywords related to the episode. We recommend 3-5. Keywords make the content more searchable.
Images Yes Include the podcast artwork for your series here. This is your main series artwork and is required. You have the option to include season or episode-specific artwork during those stages of metadata entry.
